Our Story

Faced with the lack of accessible information about the Duduk and its musical universe, La Maison du Duduk® was founded in Paris in 2023 with a strong ambition: to preserve and promote this ancient instrument, a true emblem of a local culture, by bringing it to the global stage.

It is the result of extensive research, close collaboration with Armenian artisans, and unwavering dedication to creating a platform that serves the growing community of Duduk enthusiasts.

For some, the Duduk is an iconic instrument; for others, it is an irreplaceable source of emotion in cinematic soundtracks. While the Duduk gained international recognition in the late 1990s, it lacked established ambassadors to ensure its transmission and representation worldwide.

Driven by the desire to preserve, promote, and structure the presence of the Duduk, La Maison du Duduk® was created. Initially established in France, it has gradually expanded across Europe and beyond, providing the Duduk with dedicated representatives and the visibility it deserves as part of a rich musical heritage.
