The Folk Suite for beginners is a collection of three note sheets ideal for beginner Duduk players who want to familiarize themselves with traditional Armenian music specifically adapted to the Duduk. This collection offers an accessible and progressive introduction to this magnificent instrument, with partition sheets carefully selected for beginners.
The note sheets are written or digitized by Artyom Minasyan, a Duduk teacher at the Armenian House of Culture in Alfortville, with the aim of making the note sheets of popular music simple to access.

Reading the score
Sheet music is an essential tool for any musician wishing to learn or deepen the practice of their instrument. They offer the possibility of playing pieces adapted to the Duduk in a precise manner.
However, it is worth noting a small quirk: Duduk scores are generally written for Duduks in C, which means that the note "C" on a sheet music will not necessarily correspond to the note "C" on your Duduk in A (A), Ground (G) or other. For example, if you play Duduk in A, the note "C" on a sheet music will actually correspond to an A on your instrument.
This method of writing is common for transposing instruments, to avoid having to completely rewrite scores for each different key.
