Bass Duduk in A (La) | Rare Product

Bass Duduk in A (La) | Rare Product

Karen Mukayelyan | MKS

Presentation

Maison Duduk offers variations of the traditional Duduk in its store to satisfy the exploratory desires of enthusiasts of this instrument. Among these variations, the House of Duduk introduces the Bass Duduk in A (A).

The Bass Duduk is regarded as the most mystical sounding instrument among all Armenian wind instruments. Although it generally employs the same manufacturing techniques as the traditional Duduk, the Bass Duduk stands out due to its size, which gives it a deep and captivating timbre. Often used in duos or trios of Duduks, the Bass Duduk is renowned as an excellent substitute for the cello within a musical ensemble.

The House of Duduk is proud to offer Bass Duduks crafted by two eminent artisans: the Galstyan Workshop | GGA and those by Karen Mukayelyan | MKS. These instruments, of exceptional quality and intended for professional use, are distinguished by their rarity, thus justifying the disparity in their prices. Notably, the Bass Duduks by Karen Mukayelyan, produced exclusively for the House of Duduk, are priced higher due to the remarkable quality of these instruments.
