Each reed is compatible with all Duduks available on our website, as well as with instruments from other professional makers. It is intended for advanced or professional musicians, or for any instrumentalist wishing to achieve an expressive and nuanced sound.
Selection
Premium reeds undergo a double selection process. After an initial evaluation in our partner workshops, they are tested again in Paris by experienced musicians.
Only reeds that meet our highest acoustic standards are included in the Premium range. Non-compliant reeds are discarded or sent back to the workshop and are never put up for sale.
Quality Control
As a specialized distributor, La Maison du Duduk applies a demanding verification protocol to each reed, evaluating:
- Tuning accuracy (overall pitch)
- Timbre (sound character)
- Response (reed reactivity)
- Compatibility of the tuning ring
Each reed is tested four weeks after manufacture, allowing us to offer reeds that are already partially broken in, ensuring better stability from the moment you receive them.
Returns and Exchanges

If you are not completely satisfied, we offer free returns, regardless of the reason. This allows you to try your reed with complete peace of mind.

To minimize these risks, each reed is tested by an experienced musician in our Paris workshops, under humidity conditions similar to oceanic climates. This rigorous process ensures stability and tuning accuracy suited to environments where humidity levels are generally high.
